Data we collect
- IP address — used to route tests to the nearest server. Retained maximum 30 days then purged.
- Test results — ping, download/upload speed, timestamp.
- ISP and region — city/country level via IP geolocation only.
- Browser metadata — browser name, OS, screen resolution for diagnostics.
We do not collect your name, payment information, or any sensitive personal data. No account is required to run a test.
How we use it
- Service delivery — routing requests, displaying results
- Anonymised regional benchmarking (individual data not published)
- Security and abuse prevention
Retention
- IP addresses: maximum 30 days, then purged or truncated
- Test history: stored in your browser's localStorage only — never sent to our servers
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Email [email protected] to exercise any right. We respond within 30 days. CCPA users may use the "Do not sell my info" link in our footer.
